“Duets” Series

“For The Love Of” Pottery Show | August 2023

Speck Gallery, Harrison Center for the Arts | Indianapolis, IN

Written by Leah McMichael, story-teller and artistic collaborator.

If I took you to Falcon Creek Farm, I could show you a world where life supports more life. Purple lettuce ruffles from living soil. Bumblebees and swallowtails pollinate white-flowering peas. Friends gather at a table under walnut trees as the green-gold evening yields to fireflies. Like us, regenerative agriculture thrives by community. These ceramic duets celebrate the pairings that carry us through drought and springtime: ten-year friends and roommates, hazelnut trees in fertile soil, roasted garlic and baked Brie.
