Prayer labyrinths have been used since ancient times to focus thought, calm the body, and offer prayer to God. Unlike in a maze, a person cannot get lost in a labyrinth, because there is only one way in and it will always lead to the center. The way in is also the way out.

If making a labyrinth for your own prayer practices sounds compelling, this workshop may be for you. I’ll prepare everything you need to make a 6” circular labyrinth — from clay to tools to design templates.

I’ll take care of firing and glazing, and will deliver your handiwork to you upon completion. Space limited to 5 folks.
